Hua Hin

Hua Hin is Thailand's original golf resort town, a laid-back seaside escape three hours south of Bangkok with a run of excellent courses set against limestone hills. Black Mountain Golf Club has hosted Asian Tour events on its 27 holes, while Pineapple Valley is one of the longest and most scenic layouts in the area.

Up the road in Cha-am, Springfield Royal Country Club offers 27 Jack Nicklaus-designed holes and Palm Hills is a quieter, hilly 18. The cooler, drier months from November to February are peak season, so book tee times ahead.
