Bangkok is one of the easiest big cities in Asia to play golf in. Most of the best courses sit to the north in Pathum Thani, where Riverdale, Bangkok Golf Club and Alpine Golf Club are about an hour from Sukhumvit, or to the east near Suvarnabhumi Airport, where Siam Country Club Bangkok, Muang Kaew and Summit Windmill are handy for a round on arrival or before a flight. Panya Indra in Khan Na Yao has three nines and floodlit evening golf.
If you only have a couple of hours, the city's driving ranges are excellent: Topgolf Megacity next to Mega Bangna, 42 Tee-Off on Sukhumvit and the Krungthep Kreetha range all stay open into the night. For air-conditioned practice, LENGOLF and Fairway Golf and City Club have private simulator bays downtown. Caddies are compulsory at most Thai courses, so add the caddie fee and tip to the green fee.
