Hanoi's golf courses mix lakes, mountains and some big-name designs. Kings Island Golf Resort at Dong Mo Lake in Son Tay has 54 holes across three courses, including a Nicklaus Design course, and Sky Lake has two 18-hole courses by Van Son Lake.

Legend Hill near the airport is a Nicklaus Design course with twin greens on every hole, and Long Bien is the closest course to the city centre with 27 holes and night golf. Winter can be cool and misty, while summer is hot, so early tee times are popular.
