Alpine Golf Resort Chiang Mai is about 25 km east of the city, roughly 30 minutes by car from the city centre and airport. Its 27 holes are split into three nines, the Morning Course (A), Valley Course (B) and Sanctuary Course (C), with elevated tees and water-guarded greens set against wooded hills. The original layout is by Ron Garl.
The resort's published golf package for visitors is ฿6,500 including green fee, caddie and cart, with a nine-hole or after-3pm rate of ฿3,150. Thai nationals and residents pay ฿3,000. Book through the resort.
The resort has hotel rooms and suites, a restaurant, seminar rooms and a sports camp, and it hosts junior and amateur tournaments.
