Johor Golf & Country Club grew out of the Johore Golf Club, formed in the late 1960s when the state set aside land beside Tasek Utara for an 18-hole course and clubhouse. Today it is an 18-hole, par-72 course on Jalan Larkin, around 10 minutes from the Causeway and central Johor Bahru, which makes it one of the closest full courses for golfers coming from Singapore.
Visitors are welcome with advance booking. The club's weekday promotion is RM190++ for local visitors and RM210++ for foreign visitors (normal weekday rates RM224.40 and RM255), including green fee, twin-share buggy and insurance; weekend visitor rates are higher. A caddie is compulsory at RM62 on a twin-sharing basis plus tips. Book through the office on +607 223 3322 or WhatsApp +60 11 2756 3848.
The clubhouse has a banquet hall and food and drink for golfers after the round.
