The Valley Course is the second Els Club layout at Desaru Coast, designed by three-time major champion Vijay Singh with the Ernie Els design team. It is a different test from the neighbouring Ocean Course: Singh used the slopes of the inland site to build a dramatic 18 holes with small greens and sharp undulations that demand precise approach play.
The course is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30am, with last tee-off at 2.30pm and no walk-in guests after 2pm. Published 2026 rates are RM450 Wednesday to Friday and RM500 at weekends and public holidays, excluding caddie fees; jumbo flights are not allowed. Tee times are booked through the same Desaru Coast booking page as the Ocean Course.
Facilities include a full grass driving range with target greens, short-game practice areas, a golf shop and Lembah Restaurant, known for its South Indian food.
Weekend tee times go fast. Book ahead and check the visitor rules.
