Jagorawi Golf & Country Club in Gunung Putri, between Jakarta and Bogor, is one of the region's older clubs. Its Old Course opened its first nine in 1979, the New Course by Thomson & Wolveridge opened in 1991 and hosted the 1997 Indonesian Open, and the Z-Nine is a 9-hole loop completed in 1997, for 45 holes in total.

Tee times are booked by WhatsApp (+62 812 9066 2904); a separate line (+62 821 2577 7365) handles golf lessons and the driving range. The courses run 6am to 6pm and the clubhouse 6am to 10pm. Green fees are not published on the website, so ask when booking.

With three layouts, a range and a golf academy on one site, it suits Jakarta golfers who want variety within an hour of the city.

Weekend tee times go fast. Book ahead and check the visitor rules.
